At the end of this step you'll practise changing Fixed Mindset thoughts into Growth Mindset thoughts.
Praising Process Over Outcomes
The praise children receive can have a big impact on the messages they internalise about talent, abilities success and effort. We can encourage resilience by focusing on the process ('You kept trying') rather than just the outcome ('You've done it perfectly.') This does take a bit of practise, so below is my collection of effort/process-based prompts to get you started:

You can these prompts to help you give praise and feedback based on the effort your child is making and the process they are going through to get there.
The more we praise this, the more children take on the message that it is the behaviour that causes the success. And encourages them to repeat those behaviours.
