I’ve noticed with A lately that he is really embracing challenges and the power of •yet•. His teacher actually said to me that he’s really been trying with his work at school and where he previously may have just found it overwhelming and not even attempt it, he’s been giving it a go (and doing it well mostly!) so I’m definitely feeling like a proud mum 😊

I was so happy to see her taking mistakes in a positive way and have been trying to talk about what we can learn from the mistakes. Also been acknowledging out loud when she's used growth mindset. One of the times I asked - do you see what you did there? And she said 'used my growth mindset' (I thought those were too grown up words for a 4 year old, but I am clearly wrong!)

The funny thing is, I signed up to this to help the kids get a positive mindset, and it ends up propelling me instead. However, the kids will take their lead from me and feed into my mindset too. Which is the greatest thing I can give them.
